Position Responsibilities:
As an Interior Installer/Mechanic, you will play a critical role in the installation, removal, and fabrication of interior components within private jets, including seats, galleys, lavatories, panels, and flooring. Your work will ensure that all components meet strict FAA regulations, quality standards, and customer specifications. Attention to detail and craftsmanship will be key to your success in this role.
Key Duties Include:
- Remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors including trim, carpet, soundproofing, light structures, cabinetry, panels, and more.
- Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, shaping, and fitting interior components to customize them for specific aircraft configurations.
- Handle and store materials (e.g., leather, fabric, wood, veneers) and hardware, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and inspection teams to ensure compliance with company procedures, FAA requirements, and quality specifications.
- Complete all required paperwork, including internal and FAA documentation and sign-offs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience working on corporate aircraft interiors, including but not limited to Challenger, Citation, Global, Gulfstream, Hawker/Beechjet, King Air, Learjet, Phenom, and Piaggio.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer manuals, and other technical documents.
- Strong communication skills – must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized aircraft interior installation equipment.
- Must have own tools for interior installation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in tight spaces and climb ladders.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and handle materials with precision.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
