What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Inclusion Multi-Sport Referee (Antelope Valley Area) position at Team Prime Time?
The Prime Time Games® (PTG), and is a truly inclusive, interscholastic sports program that unites students from both Special Education and General Education in the only program of its kind. What makes this program unique is our PEER:PAIR® model, the pairing of kids from both populations in a 1:1 (Peer Coach : Athlete) relationship that leads to social and physical benefits derived from the program. In our model, kids practice and play together as a pair which is why we play 8 on 8 Soccer, with a PEER:PAIR® playing each position together.
Qualifications:
● Must be 18 years or older
● Must have transportation
● Must be able to drive up to 20 mile radius
● Must clear screening and background check
● Experience working with kids who have disabilities (developmental, intellectual, physical) is preferred.
Requirement:
● Demonstrate a thorough understanding of PTG Soccer & Football Rules.
● Be fun, energetic, and outgoing interacting with the players, coaches, parents, and spectators in a respectful and cooperative manner.
● Must be able to run, stand, and walk during the entirety of each game.
Schedule:
● Monday - Friday as scheduled
● Game times: After School 3pm - 6pm as scheduled. Games last approximately one hour.
● Soccer Season: October 1 - November 30. Football Season: Spring TBD
