Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Front Office Manager to oversee a variety of critical office functions. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our machine shop, ensuring that office tasks are handled efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing & Receiving: Manage purchasing of raw materials and shop supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and deliveries are timely.
  • Shipping: Coordinate outgoing shipments, ensuring that products are packed and shipped according to customer specifications.
  • Invoicing & Job Tracking: Prepare invoices for clients, track jobs from start to finish, and ensure proper documentation and records are maintained.
  • Phone & Email Management: Monitor incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Preliminary Quote Assembly: Assist in assembling preliminary quotes for potential clients based on their specifications and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of office management systems, invoicing software, and job tracking systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in purchasing or materials management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with shipping and logistics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
