Android Developer

Job Summary:
- We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose (must-have), and GraphQL to join our innovative team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences while ensuring optimal app performance and scalability.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of published apps on the Google Play Store.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose (must-have).
- Experience with GraphQL API integration.
- Familiarity with Android frameworks such as Room, WorkManager, and LiveData.
- Solid understanding of Material Design principles and best UI/UX practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Strong understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, debugging, and memory management for Android apps.
- Ability to write unit and UI tests to ensure high application reliability.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with backend technologies and integrating GraphQL with Android applications.
- Knowledge of Cloud services for mobile app development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Implement GraphQL APIs to optimize data fetching and real-time interactions.
- Ensure Code Quality by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Debug & Optimize applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
- Stay Updated with the latest Android development trends, Jetpack Compose enhancements, and GraphQL best practices.
- Work Cross-Functionally with product managers, backend developers, and QA teams to define and implement new features.
- Ensure Google Play Store Compliance by adhering to Android development guidelines.
- Conduct Testing & Troubleshooting including unit testing, UI testing, and performance analysis.
- Contribute to Technical Documentation and participate in code reviews for continuous improvement.
