iOS Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer with expertise in Swift, SwiftUI (must-have), and GraphQL to join our dynamic team. As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for Apple devices. You will play a critical role in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond, ensuring seamless user experiences and high performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an iOS Developer with a strong portfolio of published apps on the App Store.
- Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI (must-have).
- Experience with GraphQL API integration.
- Familiarity with iOS frameworks such as Combine, Core Data, and UIKit.
- Solid understanding of Apple s Human Interface Guidelines and best UI/UX practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Strong understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, debugging, and memory management for iOS apps.
- Ability to write unit and UI tests to ensure high application reliability.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with backend technologies and integrating GraphQL with iOS applications.
- Knowledge of Cloud services for mobile app development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Implement GraphQL APIs for efficient data retrieval and real-time interactions.
- Ensure Code Quality by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Debug & Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to create engaging user interfaces and interactions.
- Stay Updated with the latest iOS trends, SwiftUI enhancements, and GraphQL best practices.
- Work Cross-Functionally with product managers, backend developers, and QA teams to define and implement new features.
- Ensure App Store Compliance by adhering to Apple s guidelines and best practices.
- Conduct Testing & Troubleshooting including unit testing, UI testing, and performance analysis.
- Contribute to Technical Documentation and code reviews for continuous improvement.
