The Techline Account Representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships by providing exceptional responsiveness to each client’s needs and requests. The primary role will be to work closely with the warehouse manager on shipping in and out and tracking the material delivery schedule. In addition, this position will develop, implement, and manage customer accounts and serve as the liaison between the clients, vendors, and the company. The Account Representative is essential in to conduct the general business operations of Techline, Inc. and in meeting the needs of its customers.
Techline Account Representatives have a primary goal of sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
Role and Responsibilities
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion
- Relay customer needs to Techline staff members
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Negotiate with the manufacturer regarding pricing and delivery details
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
- Minimum of one-year (1) sales-based work experience required
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering-based, industrial distribution, or applicable field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required
Required Skills and Abilities
- Possess strong written and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Exhibit the ability to negotiate and problem-solve
- Demonstrate initiative to take on new projects and learn new skills
- Exhibit the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Provide attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
