Job Title: Network Operations Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ (HYBRID)
Pay rate: $ 45-50 an hour
Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
Contract Duration: 4 months (possibility of being permanent/extension)
Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Description of work:
- Tier 2/3 escalation engineer for Tier 1 help desk support staff
- Provide support for network and wireless-related issues
- Resolve assigned incidents
- Work with vendor Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support teams, if required
- Coordinate with Hardware Support (HWS) for any Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
- Document the resolution in the designated repository system
- Enable monitoring of newly added hardware
Skills and experience for the role
Must Have
- Experience with Aruba network routing and switching (6300, 8325)
- 3-5 years of experience with Aruba wireless client troubleshooting
- 3-5 years of experience with Cisco network routing and switching
- 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting GlobalProtect VPN client systems
- 3-5 years of experience with BGP configuration and troubleshooting
Strong Preference
- Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
- Experience working with a SIEM
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification
A Plus to Have
- Experience with Aruba ClearPass (including downloadable user roles)
- Experience with Airwave
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
- Expert-level understanding of VSF stacking
- Expert-level understanding of IPv4 addressing
Salary : $45 - $51
