TechOp Solutions International is looking for a skilled and motivated Privacy Analyst with a focus on Policy to join our team and support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You will collaborate with legal, regulatory, and operations teams to identify areas of improvement and help implement policies and procedures that ensure the protection of personal information. Your analytical skills will assist in monitoring existing privacy programs to ensure adherence to privacy standards while also identifying potential risks and areas for enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments components and programs to educate and train staff on matters pertaining to privacy compliance.
  • Identify potential privacy risks and recommend actions to mitigate those risks.
  • Stay up to date with changes in privacy laws, regulations, and best practices affecting the organization's operations.
  • Assist in managing privacy-related inquiries and complaints while ensuring timely responses.
  • Assist in incident management and training efforts.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in privacy compliance or data protection supporting a government agency as a federal employee or contractor.
  • Experience with privacy policies, laws, and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Privacy-related certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) are a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must meet security eligibility requirements.
