JOB DESCRIPTION : _
TFG software engineers develop unique software applications working with everything from laser guided missiles to navigational applications to recording and managing highdefinition video. We have many engaging projects using Node.js, iOS, Android, Java, and C . At TFG you will be developing software that will be used in real-world, operational environments. Our team is currently creating handheld navigation apps; weapons management systems for military platforms; and on-board servers for creating mesh networks on airborne platforms.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : _
Design, modify, refactor, and develop software to high standards.
Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Perform unit testing on developed software.
Participate in code reviews.
Design, modify, develop, and implement software build and installation scripts.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE : _
3-5 years' experience.
Ability to understand underlying business and support requirements to design solutions.
Aviation, automotive, or embedded software development experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Process driven and detail oriented.
Proven analytical and technical aptitude.
Self-directed problem solver.
Technical proficiency with C / C , Kotlin / Java, C#, or Python programing languages.
Knowledge of MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js), Android, iOS, Xamarin or other mobile platforms a plus.
Experience in cross team collaboration with quality assurance, developers, program managers and engineers.
Canidate should be eligible for a US Top secret clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics or a related discipline.
