Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines and ensuring the quality of the produced parts meets specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
- Inspect finished pieces using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for quality inspection
- Ability to use bore gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations
- Knowledge of tooling and ability to fabricate parts as needed
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus
- Competency in using lathes for machining operations
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour
