Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment in various settings.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Perform regular inspections to identify potential faults or malfunctions
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve system efficiency
- Utilize electrical tools such as ammeters for diagnostics
- Work with both high voltage and low voltage systems
- Apply mechanical knowledge to solve complex technical problems
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team
- Experience in industrial settings as an electrician or technician is preferred
- Familiarity with technical sales processes is a plus
- Ability to work in militarized environments may be required
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Experience:
- IPC-610 and J-STD 001: 5 years (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Preferred)
- electrical and/or electro-mechanical assembly: 5 years (Preferred)
- AC and DC programmable power supplies: 5 years (Preferred)
