Job Description :
We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will transform complex datasets into compelling and interactive visualizations to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dashboard and Report Development:
o Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
o Implement advanced features like DAX calculations, drill-through, and custom visuals.
o Collaborate with business users to gather and define reporting requirements.
• Data Integration and Modeling:
o Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, such as SQL Server, Excel, and APIs.
o Create and optimize data models, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures.
o Ensure data accuracy and integrity across visualizations.
• Performance Optimization:
o Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
o Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, including slow report loads and incorrect data.
• Collaboration and Training:
o Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment.
o Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption of Power BI tools.
• Maintenance and Documentation:
o Maintain and update existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
o Create documentation for data models, reporting logic, and processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL for data extraction.
• Experience in creating data models and optimizing data performance in Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of cloud-based services like Power BI Service, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipelines.
• Certification in Power BI or Microsoft Data Analyst.
