Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join our third-shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth production operations. Your expertise will help maintain equipment reliability and support our commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, sensors, motors, and control systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment failures.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, adjustments, and maintenance activities in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to equipment performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably food or beverage production.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, including reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley or similar systems) is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and other machinery.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations within a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on third shift.
