*Position*: Outpatient Medical Coder
*Pay Rate*: $24-30/HR
*Work Model*: 6 Month Contract to Hire (Long term and permanent position)
*Location*: Onsite - Baltimore, MD
*Schedule*: Onsite 5 days a week - Monday - Friday (Normal morning business hours)

*Requirements*:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* 1-2 years related experience in a Medical Coding role
* *Must have outpatient coding experience*
* Auditing experience preferred
* *Must have CPC, COC, CCS certifications (*Open to CPC-A, but CPC etc preferred)
* *Must meet medical screening requirments *
*Responsibilities*:
* CODES - Reviews medical records to determine the physician's diagnosis/procedures for the patient and assigns ICD-10CM/PCS codes to those diagnoses/procedures for outpatient coding.
* ABSTRACTS - Abstracts predetermined information from outpatient records and enters that information on to the medical record abstract.
* RESEARCHES - Researches to ensure that records are coded, grouped and abstracted properly.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00
