Purpose of Position:

Work with the local Facilities team on daily activities to ensure efficient, functional, safe, clean and sanitized workspace. 

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed.
• Inspect buildings and grounds daily to be aware of safety issues, repairs and maintenance needed.
• Coordinates maintenance activities with site lead.
• Responsible for site compliance with health and safety along with security policies.
• Maintain good working relationships with site leadership.
• May need to work over 40 hours per week (as required), and required to come in for any emergencies and critical maintenance.
• Assist with other Depts. to fulfill site needs
• Able to use hand/ power tools

Qualifications

• Must be located in Edinburg, TX
• High school diploma or GED equivalent and proficient with Computer skills as this role requires lot of communication and reporting via emails and applications.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in facility repair and maintenance
• Basic understanding blueprints.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Have basic understanding of how facility systems work- HVAC/back up power systems/ fire/security alarms.
