What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casualty Claims Adjuster position at Tenco Services, Inc.?
Tenco Services is seeking an experienced Casualty Adjuster to resolve claims through investigation and negotiation. Claims will involve work in the field and at the adjuster's residence. It's a fully remote and 1099 position. Candidates should have prior casualty adjusting experience, a valid driver's license, and a current adjusting license for the State of North Carolina.
Candidates should have at least 4 years of field experience.
Property claims adjusters will not be considered.
THIS IS A LIABILITY FIELD POSITION.
Responsibilities:
- Establish contact with all parties to a claim (insureds, drivers, witnesses, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Gathers facts of the loss
- Assess coverage, identifying and addressing potential coverage issues
- Document information obtained regarding damages
- Manage the assignment of claim damage for inspection
- Maintain files notes and correspondence while performing multiple task associated with a fast-paced environment
This is a 1099 contract position.
