JOB SUMMARY :   The Application Support Analyst is charged with responding to troubleshooting, product update / release requests, and new implementation for the credit union’s 3^rd party applications that integrate with the credit union’s core system.

You will be responsible for all aspects of installing new or enhanced software applications, working with the credit union’s departments as they prepare for the installation of the software, as well as post-installation training assist and support.

The types of systems included but not limited in this support role will be consumer, commercial, and real estate loan origination systems, account opening systems, collections and other 3^rd party solutions that support the credit union.

This role is vital to a successful implementation and support of our 3^rd party applications and will help strengthen the usage of the systems to support the credit union’s mission. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Responsible for all aspects of 3rd party systems under TVFCU control including, but not limited to, version updates, product updates and / or additions, user permissions and site functionality.
  • Analyzes the credit union’s existing products / processes and consults with the system business owners to map the system to the credit union’s core system.
  • Oversees / performs system set-up for the department applications (i.e., parameter set-up, creates job files for processing, etc.).

Ensures related business processes will run on software.

  • Provides software support / guidance by answering questions on function, features, and usage of software products.
  • Interacts with various system providers in order to maximize the vendor relationship and resolve technical support issues in a timely manner.
  • Defines application problems by conferring with staff; evaluating procedures and processes.
  • Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
  • Controls solutions by establishing specifications and enhancements; coordinating development with vendors.
  • Validates results by testing programs; provides written documentation of results.
  • Provides support by assisting with technical training of the platform if needed.
  • Analysis workflow and decision engine data to optimize efficiencies if applicable.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Prepares production and statistical reports to provide records for tracking and auditing purposes.
  • Works closely with the Operational Training for implementation of various software systems.
  • Consistently provides courteous and professional service.
  • Demonstrate concern and respect for others in all interactions, and inspires their confidence and trust.
  • Proactively demonstrate the TVFCU core values of integrity, honesty, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, accountability and strong relationships in every interaction with members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
