What are the responsibilities and job description for the Work Control Planner position at TerraGraphics?

Duties:

  • Conducts planning meetings, job hazard analysis and provides planning status for schedules.
  • Provides analysis of planning areas of concern and provides recommendations to management for resolution.
  • Prepares, tracks, and controls work orders, required to accomplish assigned activities.
  • Provides oversight to less senior members of the planning team for preparation of work orders and work activity schedules.
  • Under minimal supervision, the individual in this position will analyze the planning process for efficiency and make technical recommendations to management.
  • Develops Material Requests and completes Plant Force Work Review as required.
  • Completes Planner Post and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be a team player with a positive outlook in a customer service-oriented organization.
  • Prepare corrective maintenance work plans and work instructions.
  • Involve subject matter experts in the planning, review, and approval process.
  • Coordinate field walk downs to ensure worker involvement.
  • Assist in the validation of work requests.
  • Lead Hazards Analyses using the Job Hazard Analysis Checklist.
  • Ensure hazard controls are identified and incorporated in the work plan.
  • Prepare EBOM’s in support of corrective maintenance actions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Field experience performing mechanical/electrical maintenance and/or construction activities.
  • Working knowledge in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Work control process knowledge.
  • Data manipulation experience.
  • Understand and follow policies and procedures designed to protect employees against workplace hazards.

 

 

Additional Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Journeyman’s License, or equivalent
  • Experience in Work Control / Planning, Project Management, Maintenance supervision
  • Possess planner qualification card.
  • Prior Hanford Work Planning experience/knowledge.


Estimated Salary Ranges DOQ:

 

Planner 1 (Entry Level) $55,000 - $81,000 Annual Salary

Planner 2 (Intermediate Level) $71,000 – $110,500 Annual Salary

Planner 3 (Intermediate Level) $91,000 – $132,000 Annual Salary

Planner 4 (Senior Level) $105,000 – $144,000 Annual Salary


Other:

All candidates are subject to a criminal background check, reference checks, and drug screening as required by the client.
