We are looking for an experienced Criminal Law Paralegal to join our team and hit the ground running. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and provides exceptional customer service, provides comprehensive support to our legal team and is detail oriented, manages their time successfully across multiple simultaneous tasks and is knowledgeable of court procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate case progress and resolution.
- Assist attorneys in all phases of criminal cases, from intake to trial preparation and post-trial proceedings.
- Draft and file legal documents and maintain case files in an organized manner.
- Navigate court procedures and deadlines, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Manage challenging client situations with tact and discretion, seeking solutions to address their needs effectively.
- Collaborate with attorneys to anticipate client needs and provide proactive support throughout the legal process.
