Restaurant Service Assistant

Texas de Brazil is an upscale authentic Brazilian-American Steakhouse Restaurant. Our tradition is to cook our meats the gaucho way - over an open flame with natural wood charcoal and serve it directly to our guests. We feature a Salad area made fresh with delicious cold and hot items such as: Sauteed Mushrooms, Brazilian Black Beans, Potatoe Salad, Variety of Cheeses, and much more.

The Position you’re applying for is Floor Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Understands Steps of Service
• Assist with pre-clearing plates at tables, and water refills.
• Assists servers throughout shift by performing table maintenance whenever necessary

• Assists servers by stocking stations
• Communicates with host staff concerning table updates to ensure the continuous flow of seated guests

• Polish silverware and glassware that are placed at the table.
• Clear and clean plates and glassware from tables and Guest dining areas.
• Reset tables in a timely manner to ensure all guests can be sat in a timely manager
• Make sure chairs and floors around tables are clean.
• Maintain continuous restroom checks to ensure everything is stocked and if everything seems to be look up to par.
• Notify manager of any problems with equipment or breakage that would affect the supply of necessary items for service.
• Notify the manager of any guest complaints no matter how small it may seem.
• Other duties as assigned by Management staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
