About the job
As a Geoscience AI / ML Researcher Intern working for the Data Management Services (DMS) department at our Houston Headquarters location, you will play a crucial role in identifying and developing new AI and Generative AI (GenAI) opportunities based on the world's largest collection of geophysical data products. You will collaborate closely with our experienced data management team and data science to explore innovative AI applications and examine how they can be scaled to our extensive seismic and geological datasets.
Minimum Requirements include :
- Enrolled in a graduate program in Geophysics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of seismic imaging and processing techniques.
- Exposure to AI / ML concepts and methodologies (guidance will be provided).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
