About this job
As an HPC Intern in the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) department at our Houston headquarters, you will gain hands-on experience supporting and maintaining High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems in both corporate datacenters and public cloud environments. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple engineering teams, contributing to the implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of critical HPC systems and architectures. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in large-scale computer systems, DevOps methodologies, and infrastructure as a service, combined with a proactive mindset and a desire to develop technical skills in a collaborative environment.
Minimum Requirements include :
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts such as networking, servers, and storage.
- Familiarity with Linux OS.
- Familiarity with writing code and / or scripts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
