Production Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with various tasks that ensure efficient operations. This position requires a hands-on approach, with an emphasis on safety and quality.

Duties

• Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools to assist in the fabrication and assembly of products.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure timely production output.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to meet company standards.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment within the warehouse or factory setting.
• Support forklift operations for material handling, ensuring safe transport of goods throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and report any significant concerns to supervisors.

Skills

• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to manufacturing processes.
• Experience working in a warehouse or factory environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with assembly line operations and manufacturing practices.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functions and perform minor repairs.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely, with certification being a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout production tasks.

Job Types: Temp-to-hire, Contract

Pay: $17.85 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:
