Position: Vestibular Medical Technician (OtoTech)
The American Institute of Balance (AIB) is a 30 year global healthcare organization based in Tampa Bay, Florida. AIB has a proven track record of success, helping build highly successful diagnostic testing services within Otolaryngology, Neurology, Audiology practices, Hospitals, Health Systems, and Multi-specialty Organizations. Our primary clients include physicians specializing in Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT), and Neurology. AIB licenses or operates 150 clinics in 39 states and trains and certifies 1,500 professionals annually.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform AIB testing in partnership with ENT office assigned.
- Uphold AIB’s mission and vision with every patient seen.
- Work independently and ensure through protocols are followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop an understanding of testing performed.
· Ensure thorough documentation of each patient.
· Have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proven successful communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with other internal departments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of patient care experience required.
- Associates degree is preferred.
- Past work history as EMT, Emergency Responder, Military, CNS, LPN, CMA or other medical extender work or training is preferred.
- Bi-Lingual – English and Spanish preferred
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Salary: $45,760 - $48,880 based on experience
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
