The Arc Lexington is looking for an Employment Specialist to work on an as needed basis.

What does an Employment Specialist do?

Employment Specialists advise and make recommendations to individuals employed to help maximize the independence and employability of people coping with personal, social, and vocational difficulties resulting from a disability. Employment Specialists assess a person's needs and provide vocational counseling, hands-on job training, and job support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and experience in the Human Services field required.
  • A valid NYS driver's license that meets Agency standards is required.
  • Use of own vehicle required.
