Each of our part-time DSP positions will work EVERY weekend. Their hours will vary between 6AM and 3PM, accruing 24 hours a week. We would be more than glad to discuss the schedules with you after your first interview. These schedules are created to help fit the programs and individuals' needs.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As outlined in the individual's service plan and implementation strategies, Your responsibilities will include supervision, personal care training, active treatment, and medication administration when necessary. You will also ensure the safety and well-being of designated individuals at all times, Ensure self-advocacy training for individuals and ensure informed choices are being offered, and Maintain documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards (e.g., individual data sheets, incident reports, etc.), provide input on individual progress and needs for programmatic purposes and more.
