Position Overview:
As the Preschool Teacher, you will be at the heart of our preschool program from daily guiding young children through critical developmental milestones with creativity, care, and expertise. You will lead planned exciting activities, and build trusting relationships with children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire: Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to the toddler classroom, fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Curriculum Implementation: Execute a developmentally appropriate lesson plan that encourages physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth through play-based learning.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, positive relationships with families, creating an open line of communication to ensure each child’s needs are met.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support assistant teachers, providing feedback and professional development opportunities to ensure a cohesive team approach.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Assessment & Documentation: Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting their development and communicating regularly with parents about milestones and any concerns.
- Individualized Attention: Understand and support the unique developmental needs of each child, ensuring personalized care and growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for Early Childhood Education: A deep love for working with toddlers and a commitment to nurturing their growth and development.
- Educational Background: A degree is not required however, a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (CDA or equivalent certification ) is preferred and rewarded on the pay scale. However, experience can make up for education.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with Preschool age in a licensed childcare center or preschool setting, with at least 6months in a lead teacher role is highly preferred.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents.
- Leadership Qualities: Experience in leading a classroom team, with a positive, proactive, and professional approach.
- Creativity & Innovation: A talent for creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that inspire curiosity and learning.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
