Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various aircraft systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. This role requires a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.
- Perform repairs on airframe, engines, and avionics systems as needed.
- Utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
- Document all maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks during the maintenance process as required.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance schedules and inventory.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in aviation maintenance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) related to aircraft maintenance.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with avionics systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of maintenance duties.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
