Title: Business Development Associate

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: Perm Hire (Vendors Not Permitted)


Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outbound sales, including cold outreach to enterprise-level clients, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles across various industries. As a key member of our sales team, the Business Development Associate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships, and a key contributing member to the overall growth of the company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales efforts, including cold calling, emailing, and engaging with potential clients, particularly at the enterprise level.
  • Develop personalized messaging for sales and marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Manage a high volume of daily outreach, with a goal of achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as 100 dials/day, targeted email outreach, and mass email campaigns.
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture leads through proactive outreach and relationship-building, ensuring that no opportunity is overlooked.
  • Effectively manage complex sales cycles, adjusting approach as needed based on client needs and industry-specific nuances.
  • Communicate Baer's value proposition clearly and persuasively to potential clients, tailoring messaging to meet their specific needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, recruiting & operations—to ensure alignment and effective follow-up on client interactions.
  • Keep meticulous records of all client interactions in the CRM system and manage follow-up activities in a timely manner.
  • Work with the team to continuously refine and optimize sales strategies and messaging.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree—in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
  • 1-2 years of outbound sales experience, particularly in a new business development environment, including cold outreach to enterprise-level clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client interactions simultaneously without overlooking important details.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs, such as daily call quotas, email outreach targets, and lead generation goals.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles, handling multiple stakeholders and decision-makers across various industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and build rapport quickly.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to lead generation and client engagement.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with internal teams using various communication tools (Teams, phone, email, etc.).



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a B2B sales environment, especially with enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Bullhorn, Salesforce and Microsoft) and sales automation platforms.
  • Experience using tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn & other prospecting platforms
