Banquet Bartender - On Call

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and maintaining accurate cash registers.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, and offering recommendations on drinks and food pairings.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies.
• Uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation practices at all times.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage service.
• Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Experience in food service or nightclub environments is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of brewing processes is a plus for those interested in craft beers.
• A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics.
