We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Laundry Attendant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers according to established protocols for various fabric types.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated properly based on fabric care instructions.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces.
- Ensure that all laundry is completed in a timely manner to meet the needs of hotel operations.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel setting.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
