Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
- Manage the flow of guests by coordinating seating arrangements efficiently.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and seating efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Background in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant environments is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
