Position Overview: The Director of Human Resources provides overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function.
Responsibilities
- Annually reviews and makes recommendations to management for improvement of The Bluffs policies, procedures and practices on all personnel matters.
- Maintains responsibility for all compliance with federal and state regulations pertaining to personnel matters.
- Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of The Bluffs wage and salary program.
- Coordinates and conducts exit interviews and creates programs based on trends.
- Consults with legal counsel, as appropriate on personnel matters.
- Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for The Bluffs
- Develops and maintains human resource system to meet organizational needs.
- Participates in the strategic planning process to create and implement plans to support organizational initiatives.
- Manages departmental resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness to leverage employee skills and abilities to meet quality metrics.
- Other projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of human resources experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skillset
Work Hours (expected): 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. M-F
