Sr. Financial Analyst Sales

Job Description

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring financial information is properly planned, reported and analyzed in a timely and accurate manner to allow for more efficient business decision making by Senior Management.

What You'll Brew:

• Responsible for development, oversight and delivery of multiple components of the financial plan and updates to financial forecasts
• Contributor to the launch, development and usage of the FP&A planning system
• Partners with Accounting Team during monthly Close to support the variance explanations between actual and forecast
• Create financial models, as directed and perform appropriate analyses of any short or long-term business strategies that impact the Company
• Provide ad hoc analysis upon request
• Prepare monthly performance reporting and presentation for senior management
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work to close the gaps
• Analyze short/long-term business strategies
• Work internally to support change management process on budget requests and shifts between Sales and Brand teams
  
  

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of demonstrated contributions to team efforts through strong financial modeling and analysis skills (SFA)
• Experience in cost accounting, financial planning and forecasting, statistical modeling, and an ability to understand and analyze cost metrics
• Demonstrated ability to use advanced analytical competencies to analyze and leverage data from internal and external sources, and persuasively present findings
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to successfully influence cross functionally
• High sense of urgency and the ability to handle numerous requests simultaneously
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP experience
• Consumer products experience
• Proficient with MS Office applications (advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills, experience with Power BI)

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $81,600.00 and $140,400. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
