Position Description:
The Manufacturing Data Integration Specialist is responsible for integrating manufacturing systems with data platforms. This role focuses on SQL development, API calls, and PLC integration to ensure seamless data flow and real-time monitoring across systems. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and production teams to build data solutions that enhance decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Write complex queries and manage databases for analytics and reporting.
- Develop and maintain APIs to connect manufacturing systems with data platforms.
- Integrate PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for real-time data access.
- Design systems for data acquisition, visualization, and reporting.
- Resolve connectivity and integration issues in production environments.
- Partner with IT and production teams to improve data availability.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity through validation protocols.
- Maintain workflows and integration processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in data center operations and manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficient in server, storage, and networking technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
