Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Medical Billing Analyst to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, analyzing data, and ensuring accuracy in billing operations. This role requires strong data analysis skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an agile environment. The Medical Billing Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing billing procedures and enhancing overall financial performance.
Medical Billing Analyst Duties:
- Manage the end-to-end billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for services rendered.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement in billing practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective billing solutions.
- Utilize SQL for database queries to extract relevant billing data for reporting and analysis.
- Assist in project management tasks related to billing system enhancements and upgrades.
- Participate in the design and maintenance of databases related to billing information.
- Provide business analysis support by evaluating current processes and recommending improvements.
- Support the team in Agile project methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of billing projects.
- Maintain documentation of billing processes and procedures for compliance purposes.
Medical Billing Analyst Experience:
- Proven experience in a billing or finance-related role is preferred.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL; experience with Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools; Agile methodology experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of database design concepts and practices is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to vaticinate potential issues before they arise.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on collaboration across teams.
