This is a full-time position; Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm; weekend work required. On-call emergency pager rotation required.
Travel
Local travel is required. Driver’s license and personal vehicle required.

Employment is conditional on satisfactorily completing all pre-employment requirements including background and drug screen. Starting salary depends upon prior work skills and experience.

Summary/Objective
The Assistant Facilities Manager oversees the upkeep of all physical facilities and apartments.
- Supervise the performance of all turnover staff; control quality, efficiency and professionalism.
- Review, counsel & document turnover staff performance in accordance with company policy.
- Inspection of all turnover units and occupied units as necessary.
- Perform move-out inspections and submit billable items for processing on the SODA in accordance with established procedures and the VRLTA. Billable items are 100% supported.
- Identifies work needed in turnover units and determines and assigns make-ready and contractor schedules.
- Assures turnover supplies & parts are available or ordered.
- Completes all turnover paperwork, i.e. unit description, move-in/move-out inspection sheets, etc.
- Works closely with Marketing Manager to ensure market demand and turnover schedules are met.
- Other duties as assigned

- Professional, courteous and positive personality
- Knowledge of apartment facilities management normally acquired by supervisory experience in facilities and or property management including one year on-site facilities management experience.
- EPA Certification for CFC’s
- Management & Supervisory duties
- Plumbing and electrical experience
- Supervise the performance of all maintenance services, control quality, efficiency and professionalism (daily).
- Oversee the operations of the Parts Department.
- Plan for and oversee departmental growth.

Required Education And Experience
- High School diploma plus 3 years of apartment maintenance experience
- EPA Certification for CFC’s
- Supervisory Experience.
- CPO Certification a plus
