Resiliency Mind+Body Medicine is Hiring a LVN/Medical Assistant Near Newport Beach, CA

Resiliency Mind Body Medicine is a specialized integrative psychiatry clinic in the Newport Beach area dedicated to freeing patients from the debilitating symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric and metabolic conditions. We are hiring for an experienced Medical Assitant or LVN to flex into multiple roles.

Our Mission:

Our goal is to provide an elevated customer care experience with access to the best evidenced-based mental health treatments available. Our team environment is dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced.

The Position:

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and experienced medical assistant or LVN. One role you will take on is part-time Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation technician to see and treat patients daily. TMS is an FDA-approved therapy used for treatment-resistant depression. We are looking for an experienced, qualified candidate who can work our TMS machine with direct patient care duties.

We also are looking for medical assistant or LVN background to provide injections, perform vital sign checks, and provide back office admin support. If LVN candidate, must be IV certified with experience.

Training:

We will train the TMS technician to perform TMS lead generation, coordination of care, and answer TMS inquiry calls during business hours. Our Ideal candidate will have medical assistant experience to provide back office support and injections for our other patients as needed.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be able to take initiative, be adaptive, a team player, communicative, and have excellent customer service skills. Experience in the medical field is mandatory. Bachelor’s degree highly encouraged.

Medical Assistant/LVN responsibilities:

-Assist physician with patient visits, including taking vitals, weight checks, and intramuscular injections.

- Provide electronic data entry, EMR form management, coordinate provider schedules, manage the scheduling system for patients.

- Prepare verification of benefits for insurance, present fees and thoroughly discuss the treatments along with scheduling and payment/financing options with each patient.

- Collaborate with provider team daily to assist in patient communication via phone call or email, refill requests, prior authorization requests, and documentation requests as needed.

-TMS Technician Duties: training to be provided to be performing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments daily for clients, documenting treatments in EMR, and keeping patients comfortable during the experience.

-Maintain cleanliness of office and staff spaces daily (we have a janitorial service for big cleaning).

-Keep rooms stocked with supplies, and work with practice manager to maintain inventory.

-Maintain client confidentiality in conformance with company policies, state laws, and federal regulations.

-Upload, file and organize patient charts and other office paperwork as needed.

- Medical billing experience a plus

-LVN- perform injections, IV drips, and other nursing support.

Required Skills/Abilities:

-Must be a self-starter, take initiative, be accountable, a team player, communicative, and have excellent customer service skills.

-Health care experience required.

-Experience with healthcare insurance preferred.

-Excellent Customer Service experience required.

-Excellent Communication and Excellent Organization skills required.

-Strong interpersonal skills needed.

-Must be technologically savvy in order to navigate multiple streams of contact and communication including desktop apps, email, phone app, EMR, online intake process, and lead scraping from several sources.

-Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent required.

LVN certified by board of nursing preferred.

Previous Medical Office experience required.

Previous Customer Service experience required.

Previous Sales experience preferred.

Previous Concierge Service Industry experience preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of Mental Health experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Prolonged periods of standing.

Must be able to traverse the entire facility.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time.

Must be able to climb 3 flights of stairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

*Pay will vary based on applicant experience and certification
