The Centers for Advance ENT Care is Hiring an Audiology Assistant Near Woodbridge, VA

AUDIOLOGY ASSISTANT:

The Centers for Advanced ENT Care, Division is looking to fill a full-time opening in the audiology department at our Potomac ENT division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete diagnostic hearing evaluations including otoscopy, pure tone audiometry (air and bone conduction), tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, and acoustic reflexes, for patients of all ages
  • Maintain diagnostic equipment and ability to troubleshoot
  • Maintenance of appropriate clinical records of completed tests
  • Schedule patients for follow-up evaluation as needed with an Audiologist or ENT
  • Handle audiology phone calls, questions, and scheduling
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or AAS degree preferred. Preference is given to certification from ASHA, or other audiology assistant training. Will also consider HIS certification
  • At least 1 year of experience conducting audiological testing in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge in diagnostic audiology equipment (audiometer, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions)

  • Must be organized, have strong attention to detail, and have a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Work independently as a team player
  • Ability to develop strong patient and professional relationships
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, techniques, and diagnostic procedures
  • Flexible and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
