Our Cincinnati Legal-Litigation Department is currently seeking an Associate Manager of the Intercompany Arbitration Unit.
Starting hourly rate: the pay range for this position is $31.50-$45,00 an hour. Pay is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
- Assist the ICA Managing Attorney and work hand in hand with the daily activities of the ICA Unit
- Mentor ICA Writers
- Handle a full case load of Auto, Med-Pay and PIP Arbitration Files
- Coordinate all reporting aspects of the Arbitration Unit
- Liaison with Claims Department and Arbitration Unit
Be equipped with:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience working in the Claims or Legal department of a P & C insurance company or insurance defense firm.
- Broad based knowledge of insurance claims litigation practices and procedures.
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of ICA writers in a high-volume practice group.
- Experience writing ICA contentions, and making decisions on ICA submissions, preferred.
- Experience and expertise reviewing and evaluating auto accident and medical records, preferred.
- Management experience, preferred.
