Job Summary:
Through a strong Christian worldview, the Family Ministry Float Staff provides flexible, supportive assistance as needed across the Family Ministry department, working with youth ages 0-17 to ensure their needs are met through a variety of programs and activities to provide a high quality, safe, supportive, stimulating and educational environment.?
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:
Implements and Assesses Education Plans
- Implements gospel-centered lessons, bible-based character development, field trips, and developmentally appropriate activities that promote children’s social, developmental, spiritual, and educational growth.
- Assists in tracking assessments that measure developmental milestones of children and makes recommendations on any developmental concerns.
- Communicates with moms concerning children’s development and behavior.
Maintains and Supports Educational Environment
- Is responsible for children’s health, safety, and physical needs.
- Assesses the needs of the room to ensure supplies and equipment are clean and up to date.
- Provides support in maintaining integrity of operating practices, record keeping, report writing, attendance systems and data control for the childcare area.
- Regularly engages in professional development to stay current with research regarding childhood development, trauma, and other related topics.
Other Responsibilities
- Assists in the infant/toddler room (ages 0-2), preschool room (ages 3-5), Pathways (ages 517), teen club (ages 11-17) as the census dictates.
- Provides support for Family Ministry team, TCM special events, and field trips as needed.
- Supports enrollment process as needed.
