Your role at Clorox :
GLAD Manufacturing Company is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Engineer at the Amherst, Virginia plant. The qualified individual will be a hands-on plant engineer focusing on the technical support to operations as well as leading multiple projects, including capital upgrades and commercialization projects. They will plan and execute projects as well as participate on teams as a technical resource.
In this role, you will :
- Lead and execute capital projects from concept through feasibility, business justification, detailed engineering, equipment selection, installation and commissioning to achieve a vertical start-up.
- Focus on equipment and systems efficiency improvements, cost savings and upgrades.
- Provide day-to-day and long-term technical support to Operations and Maintenance leaders on process maintenance and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Serve as a key technical resource for maintenance and production employees for problem solving and implementation of solutions.
