Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. The Psychotherapist will work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
Duties
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address mental health issues.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and client goals.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including addiction counseling, clinical counseling, and applied behavior analysis.
- Provide telehealth services as needed to accommodate client preferences and accessibility.
- Work with clients who have autism or other developmental disorders, ensuring tailored approaches for effective support.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients requiring additional services.
Skills
- Strong background in mental health counseling with experience in addiction counseling preferred.
- Proficiency in working with children and families, demonstrating experience in child family counseling.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques is a plus.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to accurately evaluate client needs.
- Ability to maintain clear and thorough medical documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Experience providing telehealth services effectively is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
