We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bartender with serving experience to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. As a Bartender you will be crucial in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing top-notch service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks will be essential in this fast-paced role.
Duties:
- Assist front-of-the-house with seating guests, taking orders and submitting orders through POS, cleaning tables as needed, setting up tables during slow hours
- Greeting and seating bar guests, nurturing an excellent guest experience
- Assess customers' needs and make recommendations
- Verify customers’ ages and ensure customers consume safe amounts of alcohol
- Knowledgeable about serving laws and standards
- Cleaning and setting up bar area
- Stock and maintain inventory for the bar supplies
- Plan and present bar menu
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Handle cash and credit card payments
Requirements:
· Previous experience in guest services or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
· Familiarity with POS systems
· Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
· A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· TABC/Food Handler Certification
· Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required by the role.
