Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Working Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and participate in the maintenance and repair of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and efficiency of facilities and equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor maintenance expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Must be able to respond to facility off hours if needed

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings and confined spaces.
