We are currently recruiting a Seasonal Land & Trails Operator to work with our Landscape Operations department for the 2025 spring and summer seasons.
Under the direction of our Landscape Project Manager, the Seasonal Land & Trails Operator will be responsible for routine trail maintenance tasks that ensure guest accessibility and trail beautification.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt, seasonal position with an hourly rate of $16.50.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform routine landscape management tasks such as mowing and invasive plant removals within Arboretum trails.
- Operate a variety of equipment to include but not limited to tractor, brush hog, excavator, stump grinder, chipper, trencher, chainsaw, mowers, backhoe, skid steer loader, and transport vehicles.
- Assist with sign installations.
- Assist with tree removals within trails.
- Assist with event preparation, including set-up and tear down.
- Remove leaves, debris, and litter from grounds.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
