Mileage & Expense Reimbursement: Sixty-two and a half cents per mile – one of the highest in the industry!
The Denver Hospice will hire you to attend C.N.A. school. Our partner, Care Synergy, specializes in teaching Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) courses. In just 2 weeks, you can become a vital part of a healthcare team!
By becoming a member of The Denver Hospice’s healthcare team, you have the opportunity to get paid while becoming a C.N.A.! You will earn $17.57/hour during class, lab and clinical time. You will receive a pay increase immediately following your certification. Furthermore, The Denver Hospice will pay for your education.
As a student, you will gain an understanding of the responsibilities involved in working with patients of all ages in both wellness and illness, mental health, patients' rights and family interactions. Class instructions will include:
- Basic nursing assistant procedures and skills
- Patient care
- General household activities
- Restorative services
- Safety and emergency care
This course includes 92 hours of classroom and clinical training. Our full-time class is completed in just 2 weeks!
Team Members of The Denver Hospice will be guaranteed a Nurse Aide role after successful completion of class, labs and clinicals. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
