Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our jewelry store. A broad knowledge of jewelry store operations, along with jewelry repair and custom design, is necessary. Of course, because of the nature of our business, drug tests and background checks will be performed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure smooth store operations
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers
- Manage shifts effectively to ensure adequate staffing levels and operational efficiency
- Utilize retail math skills for inventory management, pricing, and budgeting
- Oversee point-of-sale (POS) transactions and cash register operations
- Implement strategies to meet budgetary goals while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising a retail jewelry team
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and develop staff
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience
