Professional Relations Specialist Position Overview
The Professional Relations Specialist manages referral accounts within a designated territory to meet/exceed established census goals of The Emily Program in their designated territory. This will include analyzing referral patterns, industry trends and creating strategic account initiative to build and strengthen the referral partnerships in the community to grow their territory admissions.
Location:
- This position is remote, with up to 75% travel.
- We are hiring for multiple locations and seek candidates living in OH.
- The position will report on-site at treatment centers in the assigned territory. The territory includes Columbus, OH and surrounding areas.
- The position requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm EST
- Some Weekends and evenings are required for events and conferences.
How Professional Relations Specialists Empower Recovery
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify, research, and target potential account, partners, and markets.
Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing accounts to maximize retention and upselling opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Supports account needs and admissions conversion goals by providing clarity on the admissions process, updates on referrals as needed, triaging questions for clinical team members, and addressing concerns or feedback as issues arise.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Create detailed business plans and market entry strategies.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Collaborate with the regional Outreach Managers and Site Team to develop programs, campaigns, and increasing census.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and establish partnerships that align with the the Emily Program goals.
- Negotiate and manage strategic collaborations to enhance brand visibility and business growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with outreach leadership and operations teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide feedback and insights from the market to influence program offerings and marketing campaigns.
Reporting and Metrics:
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including account conversion rates, sales performance, and ROI of business development efforts.
- Use data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide opportunities for educating and networking with professionals about eating disorders and body image. Represent The Emily Program in a highly professional manner at events, conferences, and provider activities.
- Work closely with the outreach leadership in providing input on collateral and resources; identifying support needed for outreach efforts; and planning and execution of regional event/conference activities with a focus on driving positive return.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's required, preference for degree in marketing, communications, or psychology.
- 4 years experience working in sales, business development or account management roles. Experience in healthcare sales preferred.
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% of time within assigned territory.
- Must possess current, valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Develop and implement strategies to generate referrals and build a robust sales pipeline.
