Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee general ledger accounts, ensuring proper entries are made and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections.
- Analyze production costs and inventory levels, ensuring proper cost allocation and margin analysis for finished goods.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations (e.g., SOX compliance).
- Collaborate with finance teams on budget preparation and variance analysis; provide recommendations based on financial data.
- Support external auditors during audit preparation and provide requested documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of accounting systems, processes, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or manufacturing industries.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
